Measurements [American]
- 140 g shortening
 - 100 g sugar
 - 1 egg yolk
 - 220 g flour
 - currant jelly
 - fine sugar
 
Cream shortening, and gradually add sugar and egg yolk
Add flour and knead.
Chill dough for several hours.
Form tiny balls with the dough and place on a greased baking sheet.
Make a depression in the center of each ball.
Fill the hollow (sparingly) with jelly.
Bake at 175 degrees C until very light brown (approx 12 min).
When cool, roll in fine sugar.
Passed down from my great-grandmother to my nana and my mom.
