Maxine's Pumpkin Bread Christmas Baking with SusieJ

Measurements [American]

  • 510 g flour
  • 2 t baking soda
  • 1.5 t salt
  • 2 t cinnamon
  • 1 t nutmeg
  • 600 g sugar
  • 240 mL vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 160 mL water
  • 550 g canned pumpkin

Preheat oven to 175 degrees C. Sift dry ingredients together. Mix pumpkin, water, oil and eggs together in another bowl. Pour into dry mixture and mix well. Pour into 2 greased 9x5x3-inch loaf pans. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle of loaf comes out clean. Cool before removing from pans. Enjoy!
