2012Honigkuchen — honey cake — is an entire category of German Christmas baking. I'm never sure if it's a variation of Lebkuchen, or vice versa. This version is very much a cake, and is simple to make. It's also the only recipe with beer that I've found.
The Stupidest Angel is the anti-Christmas tale (soon to be a motion picture!). It's perfect for that person who thinks A Nightmare Before Christmas is too fluffy a movie.

The angel Raziel (a recurring character of Moore's — his books follow the same non-series formula as Terry Pratchett) comes to earth to grant the wish of a child. And that child is one who just saw some guy dressed in a Santa suit get killed. Horrified at witnessing the death of Santa, and certain that Christmas has been cancelled, the kid asks the angel to resurrect Santa.
Raziel has completely flunked the Lazurus course in raising the dead. The Santa becomes a zombie, unleashing an unstoppable wave of terror on the small town. The plauge of zombies ends only when the child meets Raziel again and clarifies that he did not want hordes of the undead for Christmas.
